We live just S of Round the bend and have been there numerous times. One person wrote they have FEW animals, which is true. They are NOT just an animal farm. They have a FEW animals, chickens, pigs, cows, etc. That person also wrote they have no tractor rides..which is incorrect. Round the bend has daily rides several times per day! As for childrens activites? There are lots, not including the play ground! Did you try the corn maze? It's a great "family run educational experience' to understand farm life! Their produce is excellent and they sell probably the best turkeys you'll ever taste!
My daughter & I visited recently & weren’t aware that we had to purchase tickets to see the back part of the farm. As we walked down the driveway ( which didn’t have a closed gate), a female employee ( possibly owner, I don’t know) started yelling at us to go back because we didn’t have tickets. She was rude & condescending & everyone in the vicinity turned around to see what the yelling was about. We were so embarrassed. She easily could have waited until she was closer to us & spoke kindly. I’ll never understand why people are rude to customers who are Literally there to support your business, We had even purchased some items from their market but doubt we’ll return after this.
Have been getting fresh turkeys from Sue for many years, Thanksgiving and Christmas, always excellent, the size you order fresh as fresh can be, looking forward to Christmas for another amazing Turkey, thx so much to Sue and family
I was deeply upset by the behavior of the man with the big black car at Round The Bend Farm. His attitude was extremely rude, and I felt so embarrassed in front of my daughter. Everyone around noticed how unpleasant he was. It was very disappointing, especially in such a lovely family plac
We have been taking our Kindergarten classes here for 6 years! We love coming here! The students are able to learn about farm life, animals and much more! It’s the perfect field trip for little ones. The staff are super helpful and attentive to your group. We got to visit with the just born animals, plant seeds, play in the awesome hay area and go on a fun forest scavenger hunt!Thanks for another successful field trip! Perfect way to end the year!
Went here as a volunteer for a school field trip, and my experience was very positive. The only downside to the trip was the bathrooms which lacked toilet paper after a little bit, but I can understand the difficulty of keeping up when you have hundreds of kids running around. The staff was extremely kind, and there was multiple activities to keep the kids entertained.
Animals are kept in the super stinky building. For $14 per person even small kids, the place is very dirty. The last drop - found a hair in the pie. Disgusting place. Lionel’s Farm we visited is times better!
